Japanese Garden Decor

Japanese garden design. How Zen influence. Creating a Japanese garden of peace and tranquility.

There are a couple of images I have when I think about Japanese gardens. One is a bonsai tree, the other is the art of Zen. Bonsai has become for me the definitive idea of Japanese gardening with beautiful images in small spaces. Zen represents a Japanese garden in my mind because every Japanese garden I've seen has been a topic of Zen to it. Even those households in Japan have a Zen theme to them, but is in the garden you really see the spirit of Zen and design zen.

The first time I knew nothing about Japanese gardens was my mother, who worked at a language school, introduced me Japanese language teacher. This gentleman spent many years in Japan, study and learn the Japanese language. Besides learning the language, learned a lot about the culture of Japan, on everything to him, the gardens of Japan. He brought the concept of a Japanese garden of his house.

I saw a Japanese garden for myself when my mother and I were invited, along with all other colleagues at the language school, to his house to celebrate the birth of the first grandchild of the teacher. I could not help noticing the garden back, and I was impressed by the beauty and simplicity of the miniature Japanese garden he had created. I had no idea when I was contemplating a Japanese garden, and I simply enjoyed the clean lines and delicate symmetry of this living work of art. At first I was afraid to walk on it, seemed so delicate and afraid to upset him.

Fortunately, our host impressive account of what he was beaten, and he came and explained the whole concept behind the design of a tranquil Japanese garden. He explained that design structures that are essential in a Japanese garden, and pointed to each to me, how we use rocks, water and plants. He had beautiful bonsai and a Koi Pond represented the generosity and prosperity.

I could not pull myself away from the beauty of this garden, and the owner of the house had, in the space of a few hours, I became someone I did not know Japanese gardens nothing to someone who was convinced he had to create the beauty, simplicity and symbolism of a Japanese garden for himself. Now I have a garden Japanese of my own peace, and I am grateful to the professor for introducing me to this lovely art form.
