Doll Cedar
Doll Cedar

The name of the shrub with small red berries in groups of two smooth, with oval leaves.?
Often found in western North middle, while the marshes near rivers, sumac, poplar, cedar, doll eyes. If you can, please include a link to an image ... Just curious. Thanks! It looks so much like the honeysuckle in the image given by the first response. But I realized in a nature reserve and after reading up, seems as if differences are non-native/invasive higher shrub. The reserve is managed, so I do not know they were going to maintain a non-native species in the vicinity. But he was sure many of these stuff!
I agree with a honeysuckle - if non-native, possibly the Morrow honeysuckle (Lonicera morrowii) or Amur honeysuckle (Lonicera maackckii). In my area, state and federal parks and a nature concervancy and a number of volunteers coming together to make the eradication programs, and honeysuckle Amur was one of the target species of this year. But there are native bush honeysuckles, so this may be why it has not been eliminated. You can tell if it is not native, because to that of native bone is solid, but non-natives, is hollow. The next time you're on the subject, I might mention the staff, just in case is a non-native.
