My cat just got a fishhook removed from his leg?
My cat was playing with my boyfriends rod fishing this morning and got the hook in his leg. My boyfriend's stomach week and could not get the hook and our vets office is closed until Wednesday. Our friend came over and pulled the hook, but it was dirty. He had been in the dirty water and fish were caught in it. I put alcohol on the wound, but I want to know if there is anything else I should do to ensure is not infected.
