Have you ever eaten at The Hitching Post II in Buellton, CA?

Have you ever eaten at The Hitching Post II in Buellton, CA? I saw it on film "Sideways" and looked like a cool place. Any experiences?

They have some great steaks and a pretty decent wine list. There are some characteristics that reduce an otherwise great place to dine: - serve a basket of biscuits instead of bread (order the bread) - The service has been severely diminished since Sideways film echoed through .... seem to think they can get away with it because people just keep getting in. ... I would recommend two alternatives for you are relatively close to the area ... 1) Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos 2) The original in the arena of Casmalia There are quite a few great places to eat in Solvang / Buellton / Los Olivos are - to a small study and are likely to find a jewel with great service and great atmosphere !.... Enjoy!
