- I believe that Sitting Bull is the largest of the Indian chiefs. ----------------- Crazy Horse, literally, "Su-horse-is-Crazy" (ca. 1840 - September 5, 1877) was a respected war leader of the Oglala Lakota, who fought against the U.S. federal government in an effort to preserve the traditions and values of the Lakota way life. He is the most commonly known for his role in the Battle of Little Bighorn in June 1876. Cochise County, Arizona is the name of him.Cochise was one of the most famous Apache leaders (along with Geronimo) to resist the encroachments of the Americans during the 19th century. Went described as a big man (for now) with a muscular structure, classical features, and long black hair he had in the Traditional Style of Apache.
