Wheres the best place to see wild animals living in the bush. Charleston?
Hello, my son wants to become a zoologist and animal biologist. Then we heard Matt Charleston and Red Rock Canyon. We went up twice, but all we've seen is chipmunks. Please help. Like it (the mountain Kyle Canyon, Lee Canyon, Cold Creek), what road, what season (fall, summer, winter, spring), and please (if known) what is the best way to go to see wildlife and elevation. We all know how to stay safe and what not to do to attract animals. And also share their experiences, if you want! (Just as large animals, elk, deer, cougars, bobcats, fox, etc) Thanks!
The more people around the less animals around. So if you are a well known you will not see any wildlife. How long you live somehwere if a million people each year walking through the garden trying take a look to you? If disability is an accessible, then there is no wildlife. If your child-friendly, there is no wildlife. Thus the most primitive a space and the harder it is going to happen and then you will see more wildlife. Moreover, I was in a park near Virginia Beach, Virginia (some edge sea-or-another park) and walk down there maybe 5 or 6 pm, in August a few years ago and a Red Fox came up the drive and was not sniffing around 20 feet away from me as I sat on a log beside the road, while geocaching. I completely lost in the park because I lose all sense of direction when the sun goes down, but This park is actually so tame and beaten track as any park that is and has to lead her neighborhood. And I think I saw a deer. So its possible to get through wildlife, when you least expect it. I was in the Sequoia National Park being devoured by mosquitoes, until a bat was flying around me to eat mosquitoes. That was one of the best experiences I have had with wildlife. I wish I had seen the bat (s) better as they eat mosquitoes. Me too I was in Yosemite National Park and saw some mule deer, some leeches in a small stream. It could have been there, I decided to climb to the top of a mountain, a lonely road, and saw the squirrels eating from my hand (very dangerous they say), and it was windy and dry and I had no water and by the time I was and dehydrated by the time I went was in disrepair and no one was around to help me. That was bad. And in Yellowstone National Park saw some Bison, I think I saw a wolf, a night, and there were some small things, perhaps marmots, which is formed on top of a mountain there and in Rocky Mountain National Park. I saw a manatee in Homosassa Springs in Florida. I saw a green snake and other snake in Florida also and snakes crashed on the road at night (Cottonmouth with dead babies sprinkled him, and hit Blacksnake). Oh, I think I saw a striped swimming in the waves in Florida and also went diving and saw a four foot barracuda and a school in a silver fish species with blue .. tails and saw an Osprey diving near Okeefenokee Swamp. And the moon jellyfish swimming near Shell Island in Florida, wherever you are. I've seen seals around San Francisco, or was it sea lions? The center of the country's entire corn and wheat and soy so there is no wildlife. There was somewhere along the road in Utah or Colorado, where gophers had approached people in a rest area and asked for food and snatched it from his hand. It looked pretty thin and in poor condition. Are assumed to be dangerous to feed wild animals. It was fun to watch run begging despite himself. And somewhere or I ran with a skunk at night. That was very brave to say the least. He stamped his front paws on me, I learned much later, meant that it was annoying and is the step before that it becomes about you and aerosols. The strangest thing I saw was a beaver laying dead in a Walmart parking lot, far from any source water, with a perfectly circular patch of his (very very soft) of skin cut from his back. And I saw a beaver swimming in a canal in downtown Indianapolis, which has no place a beaver could live or build a dam, so I have no idea how it got there.
