Can anyone tell me the different parts needed for a geisha or maiko kimono total package?
For a project I need to know all the names of the different elements used by Geisha Kimono whole set. Not only the names of the parties kimono (sleeve, front, etc.), but the real objects, ie obi ita, obi makura, Tabi, Okobo / get etc. I appreciate any help with this.
Full lists of names of the parties to the kimono are available throughout the Internet, even in places like geisha immortal, so you may want to look there. maiko or geisha costume has the same requirements as any other costume kimono: kimono sliding, Juban (usually two-piece hadajuban) have ERI, himo many, the kimono itself (hikizuri or susohiki), Obi ita, makura obi, obi (usually a darari for a maiko obi), age Obi, Obi jime tabi, and Okobo / pokkuri zori or not (geta). Maiko and geisha use a variety of different types of kanzashi, and usually use a geisha wig. Maiko usually have a dome in his obi obi jime.
