What natural dynamics of the Chesapeake Bay created 7500 years ago?

I love sailing the bay, taking in all its glory subtle. There are no sandy beaches on the bay, and the reason is that the estuary is spanking new in geological terms. The bay was formed by heating global. How is climate change is due to man, and how much is simply an extension of the period of warming we've seen now by tens of thousands years? Anybody know of a solid science-based book on the subject?

* Sigh * Natural natural warming and global cooling have occurred during thousands of years. Species had time to adapt. What is happening today is happening overnight family so to speak. What the layman does not understand is that one or two degrees of average temperature increase in less than one hundred years is severe. EXTREME. With far-reaching consequences across: The ocean temperature, Melting ice sheets and the accompanying influx of fresh water in normally saline marine ecosystems, etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum. It is not simple. It is not debatable. Is that is happening. And it is not "natural".
