How I can change the background color of desktop icons in Windows 7?
My boyfriend installed Windows 7 on your PC today, and he can not see the text in your desktop icons very well. We want to know how to change the background color to solid black instead of the current transparent as we can in XP. Thanks for any help. 
In response to "right-click the desktop and click Customize" We have done this and still have not found an option to change the background color the text of desktop icons.
Right-click anywhere on the desktop and click "Customize." From here you can make changes you need. Jeff Windows Outreach Team
