Wood Plaque

What style is best for the board of Patents?

I'll have a plate of Patents. They have several options, I'm deciding between the "plate gold with black print in Walnut wood or parchment paper certificate acrylic mounted on a walnut finished natural "framework. What is better? What lasts longer and is easier to maintain? I live in a moist state for my consideration is also easily maintained and care. Thank you.

and when finished and sealed as it is supposed, then both should be fine. but if it has always been parial to wood and wood products instead of metal, too commercial. if she's going to be inside then shouldn't need Maintanance, if then a coat of sealer every year to 2 years will do.
