How do you decoupage a poster to the wood?
I bought two copies for my bathroom from art.com and size quite rare, (i cannot afford custom frame) I thought I would like my husband router some wood and then paste them in any way. So my question is: what is safe use on a poster? How do you do? What kind of finish should I put in it? I'm so confused. Thnx for all your help!
I like to use half as acrylic glue and cement, finished off with acrylic sealer spray or regular acrylic sealer (I swear ... Varathane sealer is the deck and furniture, as well that's very very very waterproof). I used to use Mod Podge, but found that it can bind with other surfaces after drying. Also, usually you can get more than half a ton of acrylic for the same price as a small jar of Mod Podge. I never liked to make a white glue / water mixture as it usually leaves the surface very dull looking and has a tendency to discard. Furthermore, it is highly water resistant, so it's not good for toiletries.
